They showed up two hours late on the day of the move. The move out was not completed until three days later. The estimate was for $3100. The final cost? Over $7100.
Getting anyone from the company on the phone is an ordeal. They showed up to the move in with only two guys. They could not complete the move in on the first day so they came back the next day. Our couch was stained. Multiple boxes were completely damaged by mildew including irreplaceable scrapbooks and our wedding album.
When we complained the movers left mid-move. They left boxes and moving materials everywhere. They didn't unpack multiple items including both televisions. They didn't put together our china cabinet or the second bed. They caused damage to the walls and stairwell. They removed a banister from the stairwell and refused to put it back together. When I asked them to finish they said they were done and we should call customer service and make a claim. I refused to sign the contract paperwork until they finished and they shrugged and left. My wife is beside herself.
Do not use Regions Van Lines under any circumstances. They will lie to you about the cost; they will damage your things; they will offer a half-hearted apology and otherwise do nothing; they will just up and leave if you complain and breach your contract every way they can.
