extremely rude, contemptuous, and incompetent dispatcher

Reliable-Spine-Moving

This company is advertising as Go Movers NY, Inc. on Craigslist, but the paperwork I signed says Reliable Spine Movers. Anyway, the moving guys were great, professional, courteous, fast, efficient. The problems I had were with the dispatchers.
First of all, I requested (twice) that the move start at 9:30am because the mgmt office didn't open until 9:00 and we needed to get the key and ensure a certicate of insurance had been faxed to the office before we could get a pass to do the move. Nevertheless, the movers showed up at 8:30am. Secondly and far worse, a few days earlier I called Mark the dispatcher to make sure a request had been made to his insurance company for the certificate to ensure there would be no delay on the day of the move. He was very rude and dismissive and hung up on me. When we got to the mgmt company office the morning of the move, lo and behold they had indeed not received the certificate, so I called Mark back and told him that, reminding him about our conversation a few days earlier regarding this matter, and he said to me very accusingly that I couldn't have spoken to him because they were closed over the weekend. I started to tell him we did indeed speak, and he rudely interrupted me and said angrily, "it was made." I said, "what was made?" and he started yelling at me over and over again very contemptuously, "it was made, it was made" like an absolute madman. I became enraged and told him what I thought his customer service really sucked and that he was a complete f-ing asshole and he hung up on me again of course. My boyfriend called him back, same treatment. Look, I know people screw up sometimes, that's just life, but I really don't take it when people are abusive to me, particularly when I'm paying them my hard earned money, all because they can't get their shit together. Even though everything eventually got settled, and the move itself once it got going went off without a hitch, the experience with Mark was so negative and left a very bitter taste in my mouth and I really resented paying the bill.
For that reason I am hoping that anyone who considers using them will read this and take their business elsewhere.
