I just wanted to post a review of my move from San Diego to NYC. To start, I dealt with Kenny, who quoted my move. I figured that all I had to do was just give a list of thing I needed to move, and that is it. BOY WAS I WRONG. Kenny walked me through the entire quote. Let me say, this guy is meticulous. He asked for approximate sizes and whether there was glass or if the item was fragile, not leaving any rock unturned. I thought the quote was good, but I was getting other quotes. In the end, I choose the one Kenny gave, not because of the price, but because I thought that he was more efficient with his quote than the others(they were not the cheapest).
The driver that did the move was Gary. He came in, looked around, said that the quote looked good, had me sign some paperwork which he went over with me, and then started. WOW, was this guy good, he was like a hurricane in my house....wrapping everything, his worker was the same. In a matter of hours, everything was wrapped, packed, inventoried, and loaded. He went over my price,and it was exactly like the Kenny said. He told me to expect him in about 10 to 15 days, just like Kenny said.
After about a week and a half, I got a call from Gary stating that he would be there the following day. The guys met me at my place in the city promptly at nine am. They unloaded everything to my new place, and asked how I wanted things setup.
After the move, about two days later, I got a call from Chakira(hope I spelled that right) asking how the move went. She then sent me a brief survey to fill out and send back.
Let me say this: These guys are good at what they do. I was very impressed from the initial quote to the post move survey. I would definitely use Roadway again, and I would recommend them to my family and friends.
