I had high hopes. This co had some good reviews on Service Magic. Rachel came and made a thorough inventory. She est 2 days, 6 guys each day incl her partner (Dean). Day 1 only 3 guys showed with only half the packing materials necessary. I should have seen a red flag. Day 2 six guys did show, but no Dean. However, the guys were nice and helpful and careful with our stuff and we got going. But because the prep day was undermanned, they were way behind on move day. At 10pm humping alongside them for 13 straight hours there was no end in sight. I tried to contact Rachel and Dean who would not respond and the foreman insisted they would work all night, but we wanted to go to bed ourselves!! /*dead exhausted at 2am we literally threw them out with the job incomplete. I don't know how StarCity get away with treating their workers like this. When I lodged a formal complaint in the light of the next day to Dean he finally said he'd send 2 guys 3 days later to finish up the loose ends but the 2 guys were a) 90 mins late and b) came with an attitude and nowhere near got everything promised done. Bottom line: use another company.
