I've used professional movers twice before, and was burned both times so even though Starcity had great reviews I was a little apprehensive. I booked my move 3 weeks in advance and settled on a Tuesday.
Now, my previous issues with other movers included them working at a snail's pace to milk the rate, charging for dozens of extras, broken furniture that they didn't tell me about, and ultimately up to $400 over the quoted rate in charges. Starcity gave me a flat rate and stuck to it.
These guys excelled on every level. They arrived on time and got straight to work. My stuff was already packed and ready to go so they started loading the truck right away. Nothing was broken, and I can't imagine anyone else being able to do a better job. I made sure I tipped them well because they earned it.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone looking to hire movers. Don't look at booking anyone else. :)
