This was my first time hiring movers, and honestly, I feel a little spoiled now! I'm not sure I can ever go back to the exhausting, thankless work that is moving without professional movers.
My 5 star experience with Starcity began when I contacted them by phone. They called me back within a couple of minutes, making sure to call at the time I said I'd be available. I found that the rates they offered were the best I'd seen, and no additional fees like fuel charges. I called them on a Tuesday needing help for a move that Friday. It was no problem at all; I even had a choice of two time slots.
The day of the move, Rolando, Victor and Angel showed up on time and ready to work. They listened carefully to my instructions and set everything up the way I needed it. By the end of the day, I was completely settled in my new place, and got to go to happy hour instead of slaving away unpacking boxes and moving furniture.
Customer service was great every step of the way. My phone calls and emails were always promptly returned, and they even emailed to follow up and see how things went.
Moving always sucks. It's a fact. But Starcity made my most recent moving experience a lot smoother and a lot less stressful. I'd recommend them to anyone.
