I needed to help my boyfriend move, he was finishing up school and needed to be out of his apartment, cause we had a trip planned abroad. We needed to move at the end of April even though he had finals because he didnt want to pay rent for a few days at the beginning of the month.
So the task of finding a mover was up to me. I made a few calls and found a few companies. Booked one of them and was ready to go. However the day before i got a call from the company telling me i didnt confirm my move... And i was no longer in the books, after speaking with the manager he informed me that they had double booked my time slot... I think they got a better job and bumped us... Which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. So with 24 hours to go i called up Starcity. They were happy to move me and my "small job". They truck showed up promptly and helped us load everything and then made the journey to my apartment to store all my BFs stuff. They did a great job.
