I can't think of enough nice things to say about these guys. I moved from a one bedroom apartment to another (from Montclair NJ to Great Neck NY) in April and they sent three movers to make it happen (Felix and two others). This move was the second time that I hired Starcity and they delivered again.
They are very upfront about the costs (which I think are competitive, but to be honest I didn't shop around much). The movers were courteous, respectful of my belongings and they worked efficiently and quickly so as to minimize the cost of the move. They also brought lots of extras to help. They brought wardrobe boxes with rods in them for my hanging clothes (no extra cost) as well as plastic wrap and blankets for furniture with drawers (so that I wouldn't have to empty the drawers), and some large plastic containers for odds and ends (no extra cost).
Both of my moves were during heat waves and I was truly amazed at how fast these guys move. If you're moving within the New York try state area definitely look into Starcity Moving. If I move within the area again I would hire them for a third time.
