Do not trust StarCity unless you have a "BIG" moving job!!! They gave us a $550 estimate for a 1 bedroom apt moving from NY to NJ. We made the deal 2 weeks before our moving date. They even faxed the certificate of insurance to our new building's management. Only 2 days before our moving, they called us and said either we had to change the moving date or we needed to find another company---because they had other "BIG" jobs on the same day. We were shocked. They don't care WHEN you made the agreement, they only care about the MONEY they will get. This is so unprofessional especially in service business. We had to find another company in 2 days. When we called them to say we couldn't not change the day, the guy didn't even talk to us. His secretary said he was on other line but he never got back to us. They didn't even apologize!!!!
