Do yourself a favor and AVOID THESE MOVERS!!! After arranging for a move of my mother's furniture, we were notified that the movers would actually arrive for the pick-up on March 24, 2008. Because the condo was unoccupied, in-laws drove several hours to be there for the pick-up. However, A-Topps failed to arrive on the day they promised, so the in-laws had to wait around a second day.
A-Topps did the same thing to us for the delivery. Although we were aware that there was a range of dates for the delivery, we finally got a call telling us that the furniture would be delivered the following morning. My wife took the day off of work to be there, but A-Topps never arrived, nor did they bother to call us to tell us that they wouldn't be there. When we finally heard from them a day later, my wife again took the day off.
When A-Topps actually did arrive, their heavy van wandered off the driveway and ran across our lawn, causing significant damage. Our letters were directed to their "claims adjuster," but when we submitted a claim form and photos showing the damage A-Topps had caused, they merely sent us a form letter, "denying" the claim without any real explanation. THESE ARE TERRIBLE MOVERS.
