The actual transport was excellent. My grandfather clock arrived safely and crew members reassembled the weights and pendulum. I was kept informed along the way. The biggest frustration was in pinning down the pick up time and the apparent miscommunications between schedulers and transporters. Transporters actually came on the one day I asked them not to come on...the day of my stepfather's funeral. Luckily they got to the house before guests arrived and had done the packing up before I returned so I just had to sign papers and they were off. Schedulers were always polite and helpful even if estimates of when they would call me back were off. Nonetheless, getting reassurances about pick up times that don't pan out was frustrating.
