I used this company This & That Movers in Huntsville to move me from Huntsville to Madison. They we arrived 10 minutes early.In fact it was pretty convenient because by the time they finished setting the truck and ramp up, getting dollies and blankets near the front door and door jam covers and straps and all the other nice things they used it was 8:00 am on the money putting them at my door, sompletely set up and ready to work at precisely the agreed time. Amazing.
The first thing I noticed was they set things up to protect my home very well.
Then the owner (Mike) walked his guys through and showed them where everything was and told them exsactly how he wanted things to go on the truck and laid out a complete plan for them.
I signed the paperwork and they got started, working continuosly without any food, rest or smoke breaks the guys stayed with it until the truck was loaded.
They disassembled the beds, took mirrors off dressers, glass out of china cabinet, unhooked and properly drained the appliances and so much more. They were out of control with doing everything right and we were so impressed!
Having moved three times in the past using larger more expencive companies we were never as happy with our service as we were with This & That Movers out of Huntsville.
Not one single thing was scuffed or damaged. Not one thing was missing and the move took place better than any move we ever had.
I tipped my movers $150.00 because they deserved it and even counting that we STILL came out cheaper than other companies wanted to charge us up front.
I almost forgot to mention that Mike provided us with 8 wardrobe boxes to use for free and that alone saved us $174.00 at $14.50 each from the store AND about 15 large plastic tote boxes which saved us another $100.00 or more at least.
Mike said at one point during the move the following whcih I greatly apreciated," We aren't perfect, but we try to do everything we do legally and the right way".
It could not have been any better.
