We contracted with Transnational because of the quote and the positive consumer reviews we found on this website. From the start, things seemed to be alright. We agreed on a pickup date and I was told I'd be contacted at least 48 hours prior. I never was. After repeatedly calling, I finally got ahold of them around noon on the first day of the scheduled 48 hour pickup window. They told me they had contracted out to Walsh Moving, a company based out of California. For their part, the Walsh people were excellent. They had great customer service and were nice to work with. In addition, Jerry the driver was just plain nice, and the crew took great care in unloading the truck.
My chief complaint against Transnational is about the difficulty I had in contacting them and the lack of information I received prior to the pickup. I was contacted by them after I posted a negative review on this site (both by phone and email) and asked to edit it. In the email, it is stated that they contacted me on May 23rd and provided me with the contact info for Walsh Moving, but I never received this information.
This is my edited review. I understand the difficulties associated with the transportation and logistics industries, being employed by a transportation company myself, but in my opinion they left me out in the dark. Although the move went off without a hitch, there was a period where my wife and I were worried about whether it would happen at all.
This edited review is my response to being told by a Transnational representative (responding to my previous review), "We will do what is necessary and pursue all avenues as this would be considered a liable action on your part." All information contained in this review is true.
