Thx to the overwhelming response to my previous review about these losers at trans united dba moving services inc based in Hollywood Fl. These guys are a rip off! They will rip you off by increasing the total cost of your move AS SOON AS YOUR ITEMS ARE LOADED ON TO THEIR TRUCK!!!!! It is how the get you. Upon delivery items will be BROKEN,DIRTY & STOLEN!
they will act understanding about the stress of moving while undermining other REPUTABLE moving companies just so they can gain your trust. Once you disclose your quoted price from other moving companies (because they understand you have done your research) they will match and or even beat other quotes to have your business.the salesman is driven by commission.
they will issue you a written quote which will reflect the agreed upon price for the move. FOR YOUR INFORMATION WHAT THEY WONT TELL YOU IS THAT UNLIKE OTHER REPUTABLE PROF MOVING COMPANIES, their quote (trans united) IS NOT BINDING & whoever physically moves your stuff (the fore man) has the final say pertaining to moving cost/charge! Asexplained to us by management at trans united!
we were quoted and agreed on $2170.00 which was reasonable. After loading our stuff on to their van, they DEMANED $4125.00!!!!!!! So much for honesty. The mgt will ask you to "work with the foreman to see if he can offer you a discount" as if they (management) have no hand in this!!
I'm sharing my experience with these LOSERS so you (who is reading this review) can make an informed decision regarding the right moving company . Social media is powerful and I will use it to the max so no one else is ripped off by these guys! I'm thinking if all those people that do not have an extra $2000.00 to spare. Truly sad and pathetic but not to trans united! It is who they are and how they conduct business. DO NOT USE THEM! Do not recommend them to anyone. This is a recent moving experience.
