Think twice about Two Men and A Truck

I recently moved from one apartment building to another that was on the same street. It took them 5 hours to move everything out of my apartment into the new apartment which was only 3 buildings away! They arrived between the designated time of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. which I think is a huge time gap to begin with. They sent out two movers who were quick to ger me to sign sheets before the work was actually completed. I requested extra moving boxes and they came without them. Then the movers informed me that the office told them there would be only 25 boxes to move when I told them between 50-100 boxes. So they were ill equipped. They didn't move everything out of the storage area and it seemed like it took them longer to move items into the apartment than out of it. The movers also would not move anything that was marked "fragile" or if they thougght there was glass items (even if they were wrapped up) or any smaller boxes they wouldn't move. If you have anything wrapped in plastic bags they won't move, which I kind of understand. They won't move lamps, clothing hampers (even if there are no clothes in them), or trash cans. They also won't move anything that has glass on it even if it is wrapped accordingly. They did try to work as quickly as possible with two movers, but I think the company itself should better inform their workers about paper work and customer service skills. I don't feel like they were worth $100/hour. Especially since the move took 5 hours from one apartment to another. Be cautious if you decide to use them and remember this, they will not move everything out of your home/apartment. Which means that you will still have to go back and make extra trips. It took me two days to move the rest of the items out of my apartment. Make sure that when you choose a mover that they are willing to take at least 90% of the items out of your home.
