I received an estimate from John Jirau. (who now mysteriously no longer works for the company). However I was charged an additional $850 due to larger boxes. Which I had discussed with John prior to the movers arriving. He assured me the movers would make it work. (I also had 7 extra boxes). $850 is still a steep increase taking everything into consideration. I called John and he said the calculations looked off and he would go over the new invoice with his manger and take care of it and then call back. I never heard from John again! I called for a week with no response. I also called the main line for Sales as well with no response. When I called customer service and dispatch I get the same person each time- Jacqueline. Suspicious to say the least!
Very condescending and sarcastic and no help at all. Each time I asked to speak to someone in a higher bracket I was transferred to a voice mail and the new invoice that was sent showed no calculations at all. The last time we spoke I was told John was no longer with the company and the price is what it is! and I would not receive any discount. They were not at fault because Sales made the error by saying the cost could be changed!
On a side note the movers continuously spoke Russian in my presence and when I asked why a door in my unit was left off the hinges, the response was "oh you want us to put that back?"
Then on the way inside I was asked for a tip!
I can't imagine what will happen when I pick up my things in TX!
