Movers were to show up at 9:00 am but arrived at 9:30pm with a truck too small to carry our furniture. Not even close to the right size even though we went through the inventory with them multiple times. Did not have blankets to protect items but they did wrap wood furniture in cardboard. When the truck was full at 6:30am only because my wife and I stayed up all night helping them load I had to rent my own truck to get the rest of our items. The company contact still has not returned our calls that began in 10/18. The driver tried to charge us for more than the estimate even though the truck they brought would not even carry the square footage on the estimate. I had to measure the truck and do the math for the driver to finally get him to agree to the estimate. Today our furniture arrived on time but almost every wood piece is damaged. Most damage appears to be from being dropped. The job was not finished and the driver wanted us to sign the paperwork as a completed job. We showed him the items that had not bed assembled or moved to the proper area but he said the job was complete. I ended up calling the police which the driver thought was a good idea. The driver did not have a valid CDL license so their truck needed up being towed from my driveway and the driver left in a taxi.
The staff also worked more than 24 hours the day they picked up my furniture which is a major DOT violation. I work in the trucking industry and will be calling people I know at the DOT on Monday to report this company.
Using Uber is the biggest mistake I have ever made. Stay away at all cost, they are a total ripoff.
