Unity Van Lines provided the worst service of any company I have ever hired for ANYTHING. They changed the contract from the initial quote - without any notification - which cost me over $1,000 for destination handling charges and an additional $500 for the supposed difference between the ACTUAL size of my shipment and what they said it required to "palletize" it. Once I was overseas, there was nothing I could do to dispute the extra charges. It took SIX MONTHS to get a shipment here that they estimated at 7-9 weeks. They said it was not their fault, of course. They lost their BBB accreditation in May due to complaints and now have an "F" rating. I am writing to caution anyone who is considering it - DO NOT HIRE UNITY VAN LINES!!!
