Experience moving with Universe Express was very stressful and company's practise are very cunning. They'll give you lower quotes (not lowest among others) to win your business. As soon as they have your stuff loaded in their truck, they'll come up with a long list of extra charges for tapes, invalid discount code on particular dates (the one you are moving on) and so on.. will threaten to drop back your stuff and not honor the binding contrct they have given you etc etc. Well, they charged me about $600 higher than what they quoted, with about 2 hrs of arguing and fighting they brought down to $550 more than what they quoted. Then at the drop off location, they'll say truck can't come to your street and charge extra, they've whole list of cunning methods to deceive customers, they'll do whatever it takes to squeeze last penny out of your pocket and then at the end of day, their handling of luggage is not very good either, we got so many boxes smashed up badly and stuff broken. Plus they are not end to end moving company, as they claim when taking your business, they simply pick up your stuff and pass along to any carrier, who at drop off location won't give a shit to what's agreed or how to handle stuff etc. Just stay away from this moving company, they are just pathetic bunch of thieves. I learned the hard way, Just stay away from them.. !!!
