I use the internet quite a bit, well..actually every day but this is the first time I've ever written a review. This was also the first time I had used a moving company, so I was a little weary of what I would experience.
I tried a few other mving comanies first but of course, they were booked solid (I had called one week from when I needed to move). So, I tried "We Are Moving" (what a cool name) and got in touch with Jack immediately. He was very personable, informative, and we were able to book their services immediately.
Jack gives you an estimate on the phone based on the information you give him and then follows up with an e-mail estimate that summarizes the agreement made on the phone, which is very helpful. We had agreed to a rate of 4 men @ $95/hour. They have a three-hour minimum.
For our move, we had done a lot of work ahead of time and had packed almost everything up in boxes first. We were moving from the third level of a house to a flat on a second floor. Josh, Gabriel and two more guys (sorry guys but i can't remember your names)showed up on time, were very friendly and hustled from from get-go. They moved our behemoth furniture like it was nothing, rounding two flights of stairs and never hitting anything or damaging a thing the entire time. They loaded and unloaded the truck in just over two hours, and even helped us put our bed together.
They offer other services that we didn't use, including packing, use of boxes (specifically wardrobe boxes) and hauling away old stuff. I would consider using these services next time, it would be worth it.
We gave the boys each a massive tip, they truly deserved it with the work they did. This experience definitely made me certain that I would always use movers, and my movers of choice would be "We are moving" Relocations.
