I hired a moving company to move my one bedroom apartment with a 1000 lbs gun safe from an apartment. World Moving Services was informed of the weight, dimensions, and the location. Benjamin Aaronson, the sales representative told me that there would not be a problem to move the safe and gave me the "Not to exceed Cost. On numerous conversations after hiring World Moving Services I confirmed the details of the safe and it's move, every time they told me "Not a problem".
When the movers called me the day before pick-up I even informed the driver about the safe and he said, "No problem". Two men showed up in a rented truck from Avis and a dolly rated to pick up about 300 lbs. needless to say they were unable to move it. It was the last day to pick up my stuff according to the pick-up window. I had to pay an extra days rent so They could hire "Two Guys and a Truck" the next day to help them get it on their truck. When they delivered my stuff they said I had to pay $200 more if I wanted my stuff to pay the extra labor that they should of had in the first place.
World Moving Services basically said I didn't tell them about the safe and location when I called to complain and I was responsible for the charge. The safe was the only reason I hired them in the first place. THEY LIE JUST TO GET YOUR MONEY AND SENT CUT RATE MOVERS TO YOUR HOUSE. DO NOT USE THEM AND TELL ALL YOU KNOW N OT TO USE THEM. LIARS!!!!!!!!!!!
