I was contacted by All My Sons Moving when I filled out a request online from Rent.com I spoke to a gentleman named Jensen and I was quoted $109/hour with a 2 hour minimum, I asked Jensen the total for my move and he advised me that it would be a total of $218.00 and this was the cheapest rate that I was quoted for my move. When my move date arrived which was Saturday December 4th I was told that the movers would be at my home between 1 & 3 pm but to my surprise they were at my apartment at 11:00 am which was 2 hours earlier than expected & I was still packing so I asked them if they could come back or give me about an hour so that I could at least finish packing what needed to be taken, I was advised that this was ok. There were 3 men & a 26 foot truck & I was moving from 1 three bedroom apartment to another same size apartment about 6 minutes away. The mover gave me paperwork to sign he did not go over any of the paperwork but rather just highlighted everywhere I needed to initial and sign, and being that I felt as I was being rushed to sign so that they could start packing my things I signed everywhere he told me to sign without reading anything that I signed (BIG MISTAKE)!! The movers packed the truck fairly quickly and when we arrived to the new address the young man tells me that my bill is ready and tells me that it was going to be $488.00 and I asked for what he stated for the move I advised him of what I was quoted by Mr. Jensen & he stated to me that I would have to speak to the owner Patrick, when I got on the phone with Patrick he was very arrogant and did not want to listen to anything I had to say I asked him for some time so that I could call someone to get me the rest of the money and after speaking to the mover he dropped the price to $381.70 and told me that if I didn't pay him right away he was going to have the movers take all of my things to his storage & that I would have to pay for the fuel, labor & per day storage rate & that's when I told him that I was pregnant & my children were right there to please give me some time to call someone for the money he went on to say that he knew "my kind" that everything is fine when they are loading but when it came time to pay that there was always some kind of story" I could not believe someone that has ran their business as I was told for more than "4 GENERATIONS" would speak to a customer that way. He also went on to tell me that if I didn't be quite while he was talking that he was going to tell the movers to just leave & not unload any of my belongings, I never had been treated that way by anyone needless to say I had to go rest after the movers left my home because I thought I was going to go into early labor from the stress MR. PATRICK caused me!!! I would never recommend his company to anyone, they got me alright but they will never earn my business or any referrals from me. Please if you see this company DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!
