I had a good experience with this company. They informed me of stairs, long haul carries and materials charges that pertained to me. I had called several companies and only one other one told me about extra costs besides Greenpoint. I really did appreciate that.
They also explained what happens when you go over your quote and that it is just an estimate. I did go over just a little bit, thanks to doing a pretty thorough inventory with my rep. I also liked the advantage of being able to reach the office on the weekends. That was a plus for me.
The dispatcher Marcus, was very helpful and did a great job of getting my things to me quickly. I was told it would be between 7 to 14 days for delivery and actually got my things in 6 days. He apparently is on top of his drivers.
The company had some bad reviews but after researching the other companies I got quotes from, they all had bad reviews, so I went with the one I felt most comfortable with. I have moved numerous times and would definitely use Greenpoint Vanlines again. Thanks guys!
