After struggling for days, looking for a reasonably priced option for my move from Pompano Beach Florida to San Diego, CA, I gave Unique Van Lines a call back. They came to my small apartment and gave me a written estimate that was extremely competitive. It was the best deal by far and I can't imagine getting better service. They were excellent from the very first day. Even after I booked, and changed the pickup date, they were more than accommodating with my schedule. They came to my apartment in the morning with 5 movers and made short work of my items. Everything was wrapped with blankets and taped up very well (included in the total). My furniture was taken apart and they brought me wardrobe boxes as part of the agreement which took care of my walk in closet. It took the whole team about two hours and that's considering they had to use an elevator (also included in the total).
They had originally quoted me to transport my car but I thought I could find a cheaper option. When my cheaper option didn't show up the day before my flight out, I called Patricia and Karin and they took care of me. They found a transport with very little notice and a good price. If you've tried booking a car transport you will know how difficult this is since the less time you have the more expensive it typically is. Because my flight was that next day they graciously allowed me to leave my car at their warehouse (which they don't typically offer) and arranged to have the transport pick it up. I was desperate and couldn't afford to miss my flight but they had earned my trust. This ended up saving me an airline re-booking fee and a more expensive flight. I can't thank them enough
They made my difficult moving experience less stressful and I would highly recommend them to anyone that wants the same experience. They included the complete job in their total and I didn't have to pay for anything extra. I was very wary of this after reading some horror stories online. If you want a no-nonsense move with good service and easy to reach point of contacts then look no further than Unique Van Lines.
