I am a man of god and believe in faith. I almost lost that faith when the moving company I originally hired never picked our belongings up on our contracted date. More importantly, they never called me or returned my telephone calls and I still can not get an answer as to why. The original movers united states van lines of texas took a deposit from us of 500.00 and was supposed to pick up our belongings on Moday August 18th or Tuesday August 19th. On the 17th we started getting worried and began calling when we never heard from the movers and recieved no response from anyone which was very frustrating. The next day which was the 18th our first contracted date we still recied no telephone calls or responses so considering the fact that we had to be out of our exsisting home we started making phone calls to other movers and they all said the same, no way can we pick you up with such little notice. Finally I found moverreviews.com and saw that yourmovingday.com was rated the highest so I decided to go with them. They Quoted us a price that was higher than the original company but I do not mind that, they actually picked us up the next day. Rob and Jon were the drivers and they were extremely professional and did a wonderful job. Our faith has been renewed in moving companies thanks to yourmovingday.com In closing, I would like to thank George Brooks the estimator with whom I booked my move through and Howard who worked up my paperwork. My family and I were very stressed out due to the other company that never showed and the folks at yourmovingday helped us out and did a great service.
