I was very skeptical after going online and shopping for quotes from moving companies. I went on a few websites for quotes and estimates and recieved close to 30 calls from different companies. I checked everyone out with this website and found many disturbing comments about some of them so I weeded them out immediately and then tried yourmovingday and liked the quote $5,000 give or take which was a little higher than some but I trusted my salesman and he informed me of many of the tactics that some of these companies use to reel you in. I went with their quote and had a great move and will recommend them to folks I know to be moving. One item of note, They gave me a 2 day pick-up window and I really wanted to be picked up in the first day so I shut off my utilities for the second day and with my luck they arrived on the second day in the late afternoon so I would suggest leaving your power active for at least a few days after the scheduled move date, sitting in a house without power is not fun. Other than that everything was smooth and without a problem.
